Hi,
I'm not in difficulty with debt as such but soon will be if I don't get my head in gear and things sorted! Not sure if I have posted here before but if I have it's a while ago.
OH and I have just over £30k of unsecured debt with minimum repayments of around £800 per month. I do know the exact amounts down the the penny (all on an incredibly complex spreadsheet) but OH would probably have a fit if I told the world so I'm not telling.
When I say we are not in difficulty I mean that the repayments are easily managable and we can afford to make more than the minimum repayments on the credit cards. The problem is we never do, then we use the cards and - I'm sure you get the picture. Worst of it is my job is related to money in an insolvency kind of way so I really should know better! :rotfl:
My card will have to be used a little during December for a few things I can't now get out of  but I have planned into my spreadsheet that expenditure and I definitely won't be exceeding it. In the New Year I will really start sticking to budget and clearing the cards first.
Been reading through some of the diaries and messages tonight and although I don't want to start a diary yet I will hopefully be reading plenty to keep me on the straight and narrow.
