I so want to buy myself a nice cream Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer to replace my antiquated (but well used) foor mixer.
They normally retail for £335 - Cotswold Co had them at £275 last week but I didn't know until it was too late - does anyone know where I can get one at a decent price - or with a discount. I've been hoping for a John Lewis discount code but no joy.
I've done loads of web searches and they promise from £245 etc but when you get into the site some are in weird colours (must be cream) and some are just a hook to get you in so any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Cant order online, and there isnt any prices on the website, but they do the K45 domestic white, and the commercial K5 white, and the commercial K50 white/Grey.
Is there a difference to white and cream?
Might pick one up for cheaper than the high street retailers as they are a wholesale company that also take verbal orders.0 -
Have a look at amazon ,i bought my white one from there - its my very best friend lol0
-
thanks - I did find the commercial one (which looks exactly the same apart from the colour) but I've set my heart on the cream one, which doesn't come in the commercial version so I'll hang out for it. I'm sure for the £90 difference my husband could paint it!0

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I missed a cream one at JL for £305 recently.....and it's up to £341 now.
I've just found one for £323.56 at kitchkof.com - which is a whole £16 cheaper than Amazon.
I was a bit dubious of the site at first, but I've taken a chance and ordered one on the plastic, that way the CC company share the liability should anything go wrong!0 -
I've seen them at Biasco for just under £300 (£309 with a 10% discount, but £20 delivery making them around £298.10 all in) http://www.biasco.com/index.php?freesearch=Go&mkeywords=kitchen+aid+mixer+cream. I'm really tempted but apparently they have a terrible reputation and take months to deliver stuff (if it comes at all).
I might chance it on the plastic though...
Or some of the department stores are doing 10% off electricals in their recent big sales, but they're still more expensive than amazon on a good day (at £305 - yesterday was a good day, today they're £339 - pah).
I bought one earlier this week at House of Fraser, with the discount taking it down to £316, but I took it back as I thought I could get it cheaper on Amazon! More fool me.0 -
During my search for the cheapest Kitchen Aid Mixer I've put discount kitchensid artisan in google and always received a link to amazon quoting prices of around £276 - always a complany called Kitchenware.co.uk. Once you get to their site, click on the picture of the ream mixer quotinf £266 and immediately one the next page though the prices rocket to £339. I've e-mailed amazon and been told this is ok, not breaking any rules and perfectly acceptable.
I can't believe this is acceptable.0 -
Folks, some colours, including Cream are reduced to £331.78 at Amazon right now!0

Well, after a day or so delivery delay, my cream mixer arrived from kitchkof.com yesterday. I was starting to get a little bit anxious when it didn't arrive as quickly as I thought it should, but it's here now.
What can I say - the machine is an absolute work of art. I took it upstairs for a sneaky peek, and to give it a test. What a wonderful wonderful machine...and I haven't even seen it mix yet!
I'm excited for my wife when she opens it on Christmas day! I'm sending off for the cookbook today too!
Incidentally, the price on their website has gone up to £329.99 now.0 -
Wow - the cream ones are down to 314.10 at John Lewis today.0
