Hi there.
I presume you earn £1,500 a month?? Haha!! How nice would it be to get £14,500 a month? :0)
Could you list all of your other outgoings too? Rent/petrol/council tax/food/ etc etc. If you dont want to do it on board, you can PM me.

Hi Fuffa
Well done on joining this site. I am a newbie also. I have £10,800 of debt and want to clear this in a year. I have followed much advice on this site and have got got my outgoings down by quite a bit every month. I have changed my phone line, reduced my sky, broadband, found cheaper insurance etc. I have worked out that I can throw £650 at my debts each month.
I know I need to get about £900 a month and that is with a 0% credit card, which I haven't been able to get yet due to a bad credit history a few years ago. I have thought about extra work as I only work part time mornings at the moment, but I have to watch out as I may not get the rewards due to extra childcare costs. My husband works shifts full time, so difficult to work out what work I can do.
But I am determined and so are you by the sounds of it. So hang in there Fuffa and good luck.0 -
Well done fuffa!:j give yourself a pat on the back!
Isn't it great when you decide to take some action, rather than ignoring it?
As for clearing 12 K in one year- I don't know. Depends on what kind of Salary you are on.....maybe over 2-3 years?
Have you tried moving your cards to 0%? That would reduce the debt
Good luckDebt /Overdraft/Everything Free December 2007 :j0 -

Thanks Peppa we can both do it!I think getting another job would be a good idea for me.Maybe nights at Tescos/Bar work or something like that I have a 0% CC and I'm def using that to clear some of it so hopefully this time next year we'll both be debt free! :j0 -
Some rather random! guessed numbers
Take home £1,450
Rent £500 pcm
Bills £100 pcm
Food £150 pcm
Travel £150 pcm
Other £100 pcm
Total £1000 pcm
Giving you £450 for debt payments, say £6K per year. Clear debt in 2 years.Happy chappy0
