Hi all:D
My dd has been invited to a boys 6 year old birthday party and I wondered if you have any money saving ideas
as for presents.
I have received the lego ( from the paper) and was going to put two of them together as a present and wrap them up, equivalent to I guess £6.00 worth of presents. I don't really have much idea when it comes to boys gifts.
I'm a believer of it's the thought that counts however would like the boy to b happy with the gift.
cheers,Mr and mrs t

Here (Edinburgh) a fiver in a card or fiver spent on a gift is about average, unless it's a close friend.
I'd say what you already have would be fine! Perhaps bulk it out with one or two bargain Poundland items? Or small (£1-£2) selection of Hawkins' stocking fillers ... like the grumpy faces/silly putty/fortune fish.

Remember if you give the lego you will need to print off the instructions on how to make as I believe they don't come with it.
When did you recieve yours? I am still waiting for mine and I live fairly local to where we had to post it off to!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

You can get an MP3 player on http://www.grabitnow.com/ today for less than a fiver delivered.
QS have a sale on kids pyjamas - about £6 a pair and they have Superhero ones (got some for my son).
Toys R Us are selling a Star Wars lightsaber for £4.99. It doesn't light up or talk to you but my son absolutely loves his!
Wilkos have 25% off toys and you can get a Star Wars Storm trooper dressing up outfit for £6.
M&S have all toys on 3 for 2 and they have some good Power Rangers puzzles and games for £5 each.
Home Bargains is a good place to look for kiddie presents. I got my eldest a blow football game for £1.99 last week.
