I think it's much more likely that they would do background checks and you would have to have a checkable work history with no unexplained gaps.0

That's is not a problem crb checks are clear. Credit file is good too, but there is a bit of debt registered.0

tbh i think its to see if you have ccj /bankruptcy etc- ask them to clarify why the want a credit checkSealed pot challenger # 10

I don't know if the same standards apply to civilian call handlers but police officers are supposed to be credit worthy as any debts or money problems would leave them open to blackmail/corruption. I would check with the force involved.0
