Oops - novice cook error!

I don't cook from scratch very often but I was merrily making some butternut squash soup when the instructions told me to simmer the ingredients for 15 minutes (check) and then put in the blender (check).

I need more literal instructions with a step in between that says 'wait for soup to cool down before putting into the glass blending jug or else it will crack."

Oops. That's only the second time I've used it since receiving it as a wedding gift nearly four years ago!

Is it possible to buy replacement jugs?

Have you got a contact phone number for spare parts in the book that came with the blender, if not do a google search for that make/model for spare parts.

yes putting a pan straight out of oven into bowl with wine glass in has similar effect
