Hi, does anyone know if Marks and Spencer are planning to do another 20% sale day? I was gutted to miss out on last week's one so I am really hoping there are plans for another - can anyone put me out of my misery? Thanks!

My husband works at m and s and he doesn't think there will be. The metro centre branch on the 20% off day took over a million pounds in sales on that one day!!

Somebody just told me that there is going to be one on 4th December - they heard it on the radio.

Babbler on HUKD has posted "I believe in the paper today it stated Marks are planning another 20% off day in on Thursday so if you plan to buy anything may be worth waiting!"

Im sure alot went back in refunds, I was passing through yesterday and the refund queue at customer services was ridiculous!

My online orders are coming through slowly, but email today stated that due to 'high demand' (surprise??) my order will be delayed about a week or so. I guess this means that if they do go for another 20% day online goods will be quite late arriving. I placed 3 orders last Thursday (1 at 0.01am) and one has arrived complete, another is due today half complete and the remainder due to be despatched 1st December.

If they do an online sale too quickly it's going to be chaos...

My Local store took 1.2 million on sale day.

It was crazy , fights in the car park and over shopping

You would never have known there is a lack of money !

Dont forget the meal for a tenner is every other week

My order confirmation showed that the 20% discount had been applied when I placed my order last week. However, the despatch note I received by email shows that it hasn't been included.

I've just phoned M&S up to find out why and apparently if you go in and edit the order after you have placed the order or if the order is despatched in more than one consignment (as in the case of mine), then their system may miss off the 20% discount.

The money is only drawn from your account at point of despatch, so you may assume that you're getting the discount because your confirmation says so but it's the despatch note you need to check.

M&S will happily credit you the amount, but it's easy to miss that this has happened.

I placed 3 orders just after midnight when the sale started and have received everything I ordered. The orders were split up but I did get the 20% discount off everything.

Ive jsut posted in this forum. Im told by someone in the know, shall we say, that the 4th Dec has been penciled in as the next mega day. Will keep you updated.
