to get a long story short while i was at uni i got in some debt.... hey dont we all...best thing is day before uni i never over spent and since i left uni i have never over spent but the few years at uni where a diffrent situation.
right or wrong the day i finished uni i set up a new bank account away from the student linked ones to try to keep my self onan even keal
and from that day to this really my lifes been on hold aware of the debts but digging head in sand and avioding the pitfalls of beening found like going on the electroll roll and trying to get credit....
anyways thats buy the buy i aint happy with the way i went about think but at the time seemed like to only way to go....
and allthough my figuers in terms of some other people are a walk in the park
so yeah anyway about 8 weeks ago i started my quest to get things sorted buy trying to obtain a credit card for the reasons of linking my details up so if people are looking for me it is easyer for them to find me ( bad news is they gave me one :rotfl: aint actived it yet ) ... also updated my details with HM Tax place ( dont know if that helps but was due some tax back anyway ) :T
took about 4 weeks before what i think is my overdraught to find me... i say think because ( sorry pressed enter ) the amounts where very nearly the same...
also this morning got round to phoneing up the student loans company as they should have been taking money of me but had not....that is now sorted to. ( hopefully they will be nice to me )
uppps ranted to long.... but needed to get that off my chest...
and relax :rotfl: untill postman gets here anyway
plus can not spell for toffey sorry

 7 years for credit card

have been trying to pay of the OD on and off...:o
just trying to figuer out if this £1500 from the DC that has contacted me is the OD or CC as like i said they where both around the same level.. last time i know what the level was
sent off for the paper work last monday and still awaiting for them to get back to tell me if it the overdraught or the credit card.. will know soon enough..... been hanging around this forum for a good year thinking of getting my head around the situatiuon so kind of know what im doing and where im at..... unless someone pops a letter through my door asking for money i dont know about... the student days kind of a beer haze  ... but im sure thats it... well maybe apart from AOL account which i cancelled at the time, but acording to the people that moved in the internet was barred when they tryed to set up the account when they moved in
..
would look at my credit file but i only had a basic account for the last 7 years and need a visa to view the information online.. i tryed to send them the information but the things i had did not pass the securty to sent me the details..... all my bills are included in my rent so can not send them no bills... :rotfl: ...
so would have to activate my new CC which i did not want in the first place to view my credit file.. and i fear the CC
:j ranting again

Hi
If you have not piad dfor over 6 years, then this debt is statutebarred. The debt still exists but the law and the courts consider it unfair for a creditor to chase you for the debt and it is unenforceable in the courts. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
