Hi this is my first post but i'd like to say thanks for all the discount codes - if only i'd heard about DETE sooner i'd have saved so much money.
As it is i ordered on monday with Great Universal and got the 30%, then ordered again yesterday but item still full price - gutted! :mad:
I've emailed them asking if it's stopped now and begged for another code - just don't see why i should have to pay full price with so many codes flying around!!
Does anyone have any more codes for GUS? or will i have to stop my spending spree before i even got started!0 -

Here's my story
I ordered over £700 of furniture on 17th Jan from Kays as a new customer - gaining free dleivery and 20% off. Also went through Quidco which (hopefully when it shows) at the time gained me another 8% cashback. This made it better value than ordering the same stuff through Boots Additions even though every item was much cheaper. (I did myself a spreadsheet even!)
Well, just had my first of 3 deliveries (5 items and they cant deliver all at once - pah!) and one of the pieces was all over the floor of the delivery van. We refused to take it and i contacted Kays, who said they would refund the cost of that in about 21 days, in the meantime I should now reorder that 1 item (great!).
So I have just been onto the site and re-ordered the item, using the code from this thread (which i found AFTER the original order - doh!) and am waiting for the order to show in my account to see if it works. If not i'll still call up Kays and tell them to refund me 20% because it wasn't my fault so I hould get it back.
Oh the joys of catalogue shopping. Oh and no - it doesnt look anything LIKE the picture in the catalogue when you get it!

I ordered a stereo from them in November using the 30% code and it was Out Of Stock. It turned up yesterday, but, I can't get into "My Account" to check wether or not they have let me use the code or not. Anyone else having trouble or am I doing something wrong?"And crawling on the planet's face,

I think if you ordered it in November and you used the code you should be ok, does the delivery note say anything about the price?. I ordered something last week using the code, but the item isn't available for 3 weeks, but it's still showing on my account with the 30% off, so it all depends when you ordered, if anyone ordered after Monday then they were probably too late.cozzie wrote:I ordered a stereo from them in November using the 30% code and it was Out Of Stock. The reordered item is not showing in my account as 30% off, and is saying 3 weeks for delivery.
I have emailed customer services to say please make sure they take 20% off as this item should be part of my original order, it's not my fault i'm having to order it again!
