an easy question for super balance transfers

hi, not a tricky question, hopefully someone on here can help.
i have just received a virgin credit card after reading the super balance transfer article on the cards/loans page.
luckily i have enough credit limit to shift a high interest loan onto it and reading the article it says i should do a current account transfer.
can anyone help with a description of how to do this ie. do i ask for a cheque from virgin and pay it into my bank or phone them or something else?
im being a but cautious as i have to transfer almost £10000 and would hate to end up paying interest on it when i should be at 0%
thanks in advance for any tips

Hi Graeme, I did this last year and it's really easy. You just ring Virgin and ask them to transfer the money into your current account - give them the account number and sort code, and it's done!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
