Cahoot Flexible Loan

Can someone please help, I'm at the end of my tether.

I have a Cahoot Flexible Loan and owe £8000. The interst rate keeps going up. Does anyone know why they can do this? I'm literally just paying the interest each month.

I'm about to lose my job and will be in dire straits. I want to approach Cahoot and ask if they'll stop the interest or do something to help me. I have already asked them if they would switch the loan to a fixed one to reduce the interest rate but they said no.

Has anyone had any help from Cahoot with this type of loan.

Cahoot Flexible loans are quite notorious for these sorts of stunts. Yes, the have done this before.

Try by reading the "sticky" fixed threads for newcomers and then posting up your SOA for us to have a look at. How to construct a SOA is explained in the beginners threads. We can look at the SOA and try to figure out how you can save money and break away from your debt.

Hi,

We have a Cahoot Flexible loan, which in March 08 stood at £12k,,,,,,after a couple of months I told them to cancel the PPI (which I has forgotten to do) and they did that straight away. Another couple of months went by and we asked them to freeze our interest, and they did that straight away.....It now stands at just over £10k. To be fair to them, they have been our our most approachable creditor.
