Getting a job on the rigs??? where to start???

My father in law would love a job on the rigs he's ex army and really fancys it.

can anyone point us in the right direction please.

tell your dad to drop me a line on what he particularly wants to do on the oil rigs.i am currently out in the north sea and i must say it takes a specail type of person to cope with the envoiroment.saying that like myself having an army background would put him in good stead.just to inform him that there is a massive trades shortage in all regions offshore so supply isnt meeting demand.he will need his offshore survival and it will cost for a basic ticket about £600-£1100 good luck and hope this helps.
