Hello Billy :hello:
Welcome to the forum.
What type of debts are they, personal loans / credit cards / overdrafts / store cards, how old is each debt?Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
Sorry I'm not going to one to give any direct advice to your problem, as I'm a newbie myself. But What I can say is please don't go down The bankrupt option until you have looked at all other options first. It might surprise you that there are many options to consider first.
I got into bad debt and last week was thinking the same way as you. I looked on here for some answers and was so pleased to find better solutions to my being dept free. Keep looking on this site and I'm sure there will be something that will give you ideas to fight back. Jot anything you find on paper and then look over and see what things you can do. Plus I'm sure someone on here will be able to advise and post.
Just from this site I have a huge weight lifted of my shoulders. There is still things for me to sort out and I'm not 100% sure my plan will fall into place yet, but I can now see some light at the end of the tunnel because I feel more in control of my debt and understand how to deal with it better. Just wanted to send you some support until you get a post of real help.
GOOD LUCK!!0
