decent cream curtains for the bedroom

Hi Everyone. Happy new year. Has anyone seen nice curtains in any of the sales. I'm off work tomorrow morning and was hoping to get some new ones for the bedroom but with only 2 hours to shop Im not sure where to start.Thanks in advance

    Could do with a bit more info on what exactly you're looking for ? Fully lined, tab top , heavy etc etc..?

  • Sorry should have given more info. Ideally fully lined [for sunny bedroom] not tab top. Plain cream or with self colour pattern.
  • try QD. our local shop had some beautiful cream lined curtains, patterned and plain... well under £25 a pair if i remember rightly...

    Hi Scoobylou - have you tried ebay? I know it sounds funny but I got some really great ones there a few months ago. And for very good prices (natch - being a trainee MSE!!).
    Everyone who's seen them comment on how nice they are and are absolutely amazed when I tel them where they were bought.
    give it a go & have a look at least.

  • I agree with bargainbabe - try tj hughes. I bought some lovely fully lines self patterned voile type curtains from there for £15. The quality is really good and they have a very good assortment. Good luck!

    home bargains had some beauties! cream with subtle embridery, and bed linen to match. don't remember price of curtains, or sizes, but double quilt and 2 oxford pillowcases £7.99. i had one of those, and the quality is excellent. curtains matched.
