    Morning All

    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Summermoon!

Well so far I've loaded the WM, wrapped some prezzies and sorted out some magazines. I'm attempting to sort out the side of my bed so I can get out of bed with out climbing to the bottom of the bed first!:o

DH should be home soon - he says he's bringing breakfast in - oatcakes for him and the kids, sausage and mushroom sandwich for me!

Right WM's just finished so I'll empty that and put another load in.

    See you in a bit

  • Morning All :hello:
Now that was a quiet night for everyone!!!! Me too, I went to sleep - again - on the sofa at about 8.45 last night. OH was fast asleep too! We peeled ourselves off to bed at 11.30, and went straight back to sleep!

Going to my lovely Dad's for lunch today, :j :j :j :j We all love that! And DD1's back from my Mother's today. The dynamics will chage dramatically then  !!!

    See you all later!

valli - did the soluble parrots help your daughter? Just remembered something someone told me years ago when I used to suffer. A temporary way of relieving the pain (while waiting for painkillers to take effect or for mum to fill the hot water bottle for her ;)) is to sit on the floor, put the soles of the feet together and draw them as close to the body as possible, then curl the body over. It really works - seems to stretch the muscles down there - but it only works while you are actually doing it and if the pain is really bad a couple of minutes in that position really helps!

    Moooorning ladies

Feeling grot this morning and worse because I know I have to do most of this weeks list today  . I am not going to go into town or do any food shopping until tomorrow as I need to clean up this hovel. OH also has a mate coming down from Manchester at some point so I have to find his kids pressies and wrap before he gets here!

Have only managed a quick read through the thread so my apologies for not mentioning everyone by name but :grouphug: to those who need them and :bdaycake: to those celebrating today.

Have so far managed to spray the shower with mildew remover as it was getting black and disgusting in there so need to scrub it later. Only other thing done is make myself a cuppa with powdered milk - yuk as I left the milk out and its gone off. Just waiting for OH to come home from work with fresh milk so I can have some brekkie then I'll crack on.

Will be back later with a list and hopefully some of it done !!

    See ya later
