DFW Ideas for a credit card free birthday!!

Afternoon all!
Its my step-sons 13th birthday coming up and my OH is finding it very difficult to think of affordable things to do. In the past the credit card would have been flashed and fun would have been had. This year we are having to be more creative.....but aren't doing very well!!
So has anyone any ideas for a cheapish but good birthday treat for a boy. Whatever they do OH will end up paying for him, son and daughter so maximum of £10 per head.

Do you have a laserquest or something similar nearby - our local one is currently doing 4 games for £10 - which lasts for aaaages!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Have you thought about something like Laserquest? They're doing some good deals, in fact they have a kids club which gives them something like 2 hours for £10, or there are 2 for 1 deals. Just a thought, as I know my son loved stuff like this at that age!

Bowling? with a meal in Burger King McDonalds?
pizza hut buffet meal -I love them - all you can eat - fab.
2 for 1 cinema tickets? on orange wednesday?
a competitive game of something - any toys he hasn't used for a while like a remote control car/scaletrics? have timed laps or something? or a games console competition. - loser has to do the dishes or a chore or something???
Rent a dvd and make your own popcorn?
Order a takeaway pizza and cook some garlic bread and beans and have a pizza party at home?Making my money go further with MSE :j

Dancing fairy - pizza party sounds good - he LOVES pizza! Def be the food of choice for that day I think!
Burlesque Babe - Another great idea. I'll def do this one as we are always doing treasure hunts / quizzes with them. Could do a special treasure hunt for him. They seem to thrive on stuff like that so thats a fab idea. Thanks!
