CCA requests?

Hi there everyone, new to the board and i would just like to say that it has been a huge help to me by relising that i am not the only one to be stuck in the circle of debt

It can feel a very lonely place at times as i am sure most of you realise.

I just have a quick query if i may, does requesting a copy of your CCA have any negative implications? Does that go on your credit file or do the companies involved get nervous and demand the account be settled? (Credit card companies)

Sorry if this sounds a bit vague

I have searched the forum and cant find any answers to this. I will post more details about my situation later as i am being dragged out to the shops as i type this !!!!

The question of a CCA request useually happens when the account is in default and passed/sold to a DCA. Also the account needs to be pre 2007 . If a DCA can not come up with a TRUE SIGNED CCA the account MAY be unenforceable

Not sure bistoman- I am yet to address the CCA thing yet. None of my accounts are in default but would like to see how many could actually produce CCAs and therefore prove the debts are enforceable but only IF requesting them would do NO harm.
