Anyone on here work for Tesco?

Hi there

I have a second job but it is a self employed thing and due to the current climate it's not going too well. I have been thinking about what I can do and thought maybe a part time job in Tesco could work really well if the staff discount is any good as I spend a fair bit in there.

Does anyone on here know about the staff discounts, whether they apply if you've been there for a certain time only, whether you have to do a minimum number of hours to qualify?

discount is 10%. minimum £3 transaction to get your money off.

Issued with a card after 12 months service.

capped at £650 worth of discount per year.

makes no difference what hours you do.

Just spoken to my Tesco working mil, and she says that up until June this year, it was 12 months service and an minimum of £3.

But they have changed it now, the minimum spend is now £1, you can't use it on petrol or tobacco products, and she says that it it now either 3 or 6 months service to get the card (she isn't 100% which one)
