DVD + HDD recorder

Preferably twin tuners but not restricted to. Any advice would be helpful, minimum 80gbHDD.

Thanks!

DVD + HDD recorder ...Preferably twin tuners
If you mean digital (freeview) tuner(s), then the only one I know is Panasonic DMRES60D DVD Recorder/PVR/Freeview:

200Gb HDD Recorder, Freeview Tuner and DVD recorder. DVD RAM & DVD-R/RW recorder. DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW, +R, +RW, DVD video, DVD audio, CD-R/RW, CD-DA, CD, MP3 playback. Quick start and record. Extended time recording (up to 16 hours on 9.4Gb RAM disc).

    - all this for just about £550

EDIT: also Sony RDR-HXD710 DVD Recorder / HDD Recorder (one tuner, 160G)

aye it doesnt but i've just decided to go for this. Dead easy to copy to a PC and edit your DVD to properly cut out all adverts etc, from what i'm reading the edit facility on most PVRs are a bit pants.

Also stick a cheap large capacity hardrive on PC and you have a great archiving device :-)

The PVR forum should give you more than enough advice to shake a stick at. http://www.radioandtelly.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?board=recorders

Personally I favour the Humax HDD recorder (no DVD) myself...but each to their own.

Anyone know anything about 160GB HDD recorder model: Chili DVR-9200HX or the Toshiba RDXS24? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, are there any HDD recorders with built in DVD-/+R that are multiregional??
