Non EU passport holders can claim back Ryanair airport charges*

If you have used Ryanair website you will see that Web Check in which is a free of charge method of checking in is only available to EU passport holders.
According to the small print also on their site it says:
Where a passenger is unable to avail of Online Check-in by reason only of not being the holder of either a valid passport or a National Identity Card, issued by the government of an EU/EEA country, any Airport Check-In fee paid will be refunded upon application.
Therefore non EU passport holders should pay for airport check in online and then claim via post or fax. You need to include a copy of your passport. Remember this only applies to non EU passports that do NOT check in any lugguage.

You can also fax refund requests to Ireland +35318121230
Quite a few people have managed to use web check in as non EU passport holders but at the same time there is a news post online of at least 7 travellers being prevented from travelling at Stansted, so its advisable that you pay and claim.
I'm British myself but my OH is American which led to this bit of research.
