I can't keep it to myself

A deal has finally gone through after 15 months to sell a small parcel of our land and as of yesterday we have paid off our mortgage and have got a small lump sum to invest as well..................there have been so many hiccups along the way that we never thought that it would happen:j:j:j

    Well done invest the small sum left over wisely IE cash ISA,s and save the mortgage payment into a regular saver (Halifax 10% saver !)
    Build up your savings for your future.

  • Congratulations. I've done it once- and have now bought another house, and am starting from scratch! But it was nice to only get a new mortgage for £60K and have a much better LTV ratio;)
