I hope Lenora won't mind me asking for someone to suggest a few good chargers for those 7dayshop rechargeable batteries.

There have been some long threads on chargers. After trying the cheap ones I opted for the La Crosse (see http://www.digilution.co.uk/ for one source). Pricey but gives you great control and you really know if your batteries are duds or not due to the full cycle recon & test. If you have a collection of rechargeables then this will work out the most economical option. You can even reconditioon your mates' batteries using it.0
