I cant believe I just sat for an hour typing my first message/questions only to have it not post! ( telling me I'm not logged in, even after I had logged in first! ) AAAAAAAAArgh......!!!!!!. Happy new year.

Commiserations - I hate when that happens.

make sure you learn from it though....if I'm making a really long post, I will highlight and copy it before I hit the send button - JUST in case it doesn't work, then its just a matter of going back and pasting.

This has just happened to me.I'm going to open two windows from now on as hitting the back button didn't work.

how frustrating!

if its a long one you could always type it in word or notepad so you can save it too.

also if you are using firefox (a free web browser) and that happens you can usually click back and the text is still there, then you highlight it, copy, log in, and paste. not sure if this is the case with internet explorer but i'm sure someone can tell you.

I usually cut and paste long messages into a notepad and save them, I've had too many losses over the years. I highlight and do Ctrl-V before clicking if it's a post that I've thought about a bit.
