I've watched TV since 9am, I get so restless when I'm sick, think I might go and raid the office for some DVDs.

    Is BB giving cooking lessons?

    Where on earth is everyone?????

I have been scraping the bathroom and buying stuff to decorate with, came to £70 but that includes a new mirror and a lovely glass shelf. Just have to keep prodding OH to get on with it:rolleyes:

I have fancied a complete new bathroom suite since we moved in 5 years ago but as we are hell bent on clearing the mortgage in 5 years we are just going to do a bit of a tidy up job.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • The last time we re did our bathroom it was a nightmare, i hate plumbers..and was glad to see the back of him. It is still not how i would want it, but i am not going to bother now as want to sell in the next year.

It is a worry when you pay a bloomin fortune for what should be your dream bathroom and the fitters do a crap job. Our is still the original enamelled cast iron bath and apart from the taps which are a bit tarnished the whole suite always scrubbs up well.

I just keep thinking £2000 bathroom OR £2000 off the mortgage............no competition really:D

I know you can get bathrooms alot cheaper but when we do eventually put a new one in then it will be one that I absolutely love.

Woo hoo, been to tesco shopping...

    Decided on.......

Tomato and butter bean soup to start

Main - posh bangers and mash with creamed leeks and cabbage and carrots.

Pudding - apple strudle (frozen) with double cream and ice cream.

BB - loved your ideas, but I may have to come to one of your cookery classes...I wouldn't even know how to peel a mango! And as for whipping into stiff peaks......I would have no chance...:rotfl: I really am not a very good cook at all - mainly cos I have never been taught.
