On The Bone Chicken & Slow Cookers?

    Well I have just tried getting my whole chicken in the slow cooker and i've got to say it wasnt easy lol! Its not even a big chicken but the SC is a cookworks one so its tall and thin. Anyway I managed to squash it down with its legs in the air!

    Really looking forward to eating this at tea time. I may try blasting it in a hot oven for 20 mins at the end to brown the skin a bit.

  • I've got some browning in the cupboard and it says on the side that it can be used for brushing over meat thats going to be microwaved - maybe it would work for the slo cooker as well?
