Coventry Building society

I informed that the Coventry was posting out letters this week informing people of their new mortgage payments. Has anyone received the alleged letter, strange that when the rates went up i got a letter 3 days latter.

Thanks for any help

Not got mine yet. I'm on a BoE base rate tracker, so I know I will get one eventually.

Not got my NatWest one either, so Coventry aren't the only slow ones.

    Hope that helps.

Just established from CBS that my mortgage product rate will reduce by 0.5%!

So despite a BBR reduction in the last 2 months of 2% CBS has decided that for my mortgage product, which is a SVR, 0.5% is all the reduction they are prepared to pass on.

Not good enough in my opinion.

    Got my letter today.

    Rate dropped 1.5% to 3.75%.:T

(As expected, as its a BoE base rate tracker + 0.75%)

Coventry have passed on the full 1.5% cut on their SVR which is now at 5.34%. If you are on SVR then this should be the rate that you pay - if your rate is different then check your product as it may not be an SVR product but their own variable product which isn't necessarily affected by SVR.
