I bought one of these about a year or so ago, and it's amazing what a difference it makes. I play everything through it. Even playing a regular audio CD sounds ten times better! It's also very good for playing games - if you're being shot at from behind you can tell which side it's coming from. Just take 30 seconds to fiddle about with the speaker volumes for each piece of hardware you play through it, you'll be very surprised what good quality the sound is for such a small price.

teenage_drama - they are small speakers, but very impressive for their size!

Correct me if you know different, but the ebuyer one does not have any decoder, and is just 6 amplifiers with 6 speakers. It was around as a Bush model years ago.

The durabrand intruction pdf is here, for connecting look at page 9

BTW the Durabrand is $40 in Walmart, so not such a bargain here as in US

  • I've just spotted the Durabrand Home Cinema Kit in my local Asda For £25 (allegedly reduced from £40). Thought I'd have a look on here to see if its any good - Bingo! That'll be me back off to Asda first thing tomorrow!!
    Cheers chaps.
