Sorry to hear about your present situation but if it is any good to you keep positive.
I am not one for slogans but my daily calendar has a saying a day and today it says that luck is the time when preparation and opportunity meet. How true.
With the right attitude you will overcome!!0 -
Hi Alyth, just wondered how you were getting on? Did you find anything to do over Xmas?
Hope you are doing well.Booo!!!0 -

Thanks guys - it was a bit of a manic few weeks - I got a really good job as a PA in Perth, so started that on 15 Dec, so in the end i just went to my parents on Christmas day - and I've also met a fantastic guy and been seeing him for a couple of months, and saw a lot of him over Christmas!
So after a fairly horrific 6 months it's all turned out brilliantly - I'm so happy with my new life! Came back from my parents on Christmas night and had a few glasses of wine and a little happy cry to myself that everything has turned out so well for me! And a lot of thanks to the people on this board!0 -
Great news Alyth so glad things are going so well for you.How lucky are you?
Think there might be some truth to the old saying "everything happens for a reason".Booo!!!0 -
Thanks Violetta, I hate that phrase but it absolutely true - the phrase what goes around comes around, is also apt given what I'm hearing about ex and his new girlfriend who he moved into the house the day I moved out!
Happy new year to everyone!0 -
