it is worth approaching the gym direct and quoting what you have seen cos they seem to be able to do deals at the managers discretion

This is wicked but how long do you think it will last??... I managed to a heap of free nectar points & signed up to a rival gym for a month free only last night (grrr) that one I could have used at a later date & taken advantage of this one now!!!
I am hoping it will go to at least the end of Jan then I can get two months free on the trot? does anyone know when the offer ends?

after the four weeks. if you wanna join you only have to sign a 3 month contract. Much better than a 12 month

just noticed that this is run by a compnay called health force which say on thier website that they can offer you cheaper deals then normal, not sure what the discounts are like but maybe someone finds it useful

Does anyone know if the 4 week trial is for full membership i.e. you can go at peak times? I fancy trying it out

My husband and I joined today and all they wanted to see was the e-mail confirmation from the Gym Discount Company. Apparently we get four weeks free and then we will pay £51.95 a month for both of us. This is quite a bit cheaper than normal membership and registration fees. The only reservation I have, is that I tried to call the Gym Discount Company on the number I was given on the e-mail confirmation (the number to call should you wish to cancel the DD) and it goes to a mobile answerphone. I'm going to check next time with LA Fitness that it is all OK as I'm a bit worried now that I gave DD details and can't get hold of anyone.

Anyone else managed to successfully join ?

I've just done my induction its a great gym.
I was wrong though with this offer after your 4 weeks if you want to join its a 12 month contract. Although the gym itself does a 3 month. If you sign up for the off peak you can only go off peak hours. Or the weekend one you can only go weekend hours.
