Sony Camcorder batterys

I am looking to buy another battery for my Sony Camcorder - the one it came has only 30 mins recording time.

I have ahd a look around and the SONY ones are really expensive. Does anyone know if the replacement camcorder batteries are any good? Is there anything particular I should look out for?
I have seen loads of them on Ebay, has anyone bought one on there? Any recommendations?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Bought various replacement batteries for cameras etc on ebay and they have all been fine (none of which have been the proper Sony, JVC batteries) usually the best deals come from Hong Kong based suppliers just watch out for the P&P some of them may seem great deals till you take into the cost of it
  • we bought our Sony spares on ebay.com a few years back, no probs at all. We did buy proper sony parts but as gizmos says just watch out for hidden costs !!
  • I got my batteries for my canon camcorder from sabahoceanic.com which is based in malaysia. they are not branded batteries, but as long as you have the details on the one you have you should be able to find the right ones. they also do cheap 35mm camera batteries. quick delivery. my sister also uses them.
