Christmas Essentials! Where do I start?

As well as planning for the Christmas dinner food... something yummy to eat for breakfast; crackers - you could have them to pull for breakfast, lunch and dinner; something nice to drink; some nice choccies; some chutney or something you like on bread for sandwiches in the evening or for Boxing Day; some nice cheese; soemthing to make you laugh - maybe an old fashioned game like tiddly winks or a pack of cards or you could get a set of balloon modelling balloons (can get cheapie sets in Wilkos and Home Bargains) and see what animals the two of you can make!
Have fun and enjoy it
If I bought my OH some of those balloons.. the first thing he made would not be animals..
As for the huge trolley.. that is so me! Two toddlers fighting and having a "who can scream the loudest"competition, a husband in a wheelchair that keeps stopping right by the side of me so I cant reach the shelf. You don't know what youre missing:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
Siren 137, chill out and enjoy the day as best as you can. You don't have to cook big meals on xmas day, you can make quick meals and still make it special. Last year, my family decided that we were going to have a very relaxing christmas and we sure did. We chilled out watching movies, eating whatever and just being ourselves. It is a shame that consumerism has overtaken the real meaning of christmas and people see you as odd if you are not running crazy doing christmas shopping.0
