Where is everyone?? Its like the marie Celest around here at the moment :rotfl:
Feeling really Pah at the moment. I know its my own insecurities but I asked DD who she had played with at pre-school the other day and she said no-one I play on my own. Then she said they all say I look funny...that broke my heart and can just imagine her sitting on her own, no-one to play with and feeling sad. I know its probably nothing like this in reality although I spoke to her key worker who did say she spent a lot of time on her own. I just want her to have some friends and enjoy school.

Haven't got much on today, DD is off from Pre-school sick so trying to entertain and make Christmas cards and mince pies to go in the freezer

She is at pre-school. I know at this age they don't generally play together but play alongside each other but I just feel sad that she is a real loner. Her key worker showed me her file and all the pictures inside were just her on her own, no other children in sight.
I would just like to help her transition into school next year as she will only just be 4.

Sally :grouphug: try not to worry. My nephew was very similar but made plenty of good friends once he'd settled in. HE still likes quiet time on his own though. Come to that, so do I occasionally. There's no harm in being able to entertain yourself;)

morning all - hugs for sally... kids are funny little things aren't they. i bet B doesn't even see it as an issue, and it hasn't crossed her mind that she's missing out... she's so adorable, i would be her best friend in a minute!!

Been for a swim this morning, didn't count my lengths, too busy dodging the blue rinse brigades! trouble is they are all faster swimmers than me, and that's with them keeping their marshmallow heads above water level...! kinda disheartening when i'm giving it laldy, puffing and actually hot and steaming up my googles with effort, and they are gracefully swanning along effortlessly and going just as fast as me...!

And no lbs list this week, after all this effort i was sure i was going to see a steady decline, but nope! am not weighing myself until end of month now... as i'm in the huff!

snow is dinging down here this morning! brrrrr!

Thanks guys, I'm sure you are all right, she never seems unhappy and is always fine when I leave her. To be honest I think she finds the other kids a bit boring when she is used to adults and adult conversation all the time she is around me. She is a clever little bean and I just want her to be happy and stimulated. Maz she would love to be your friend, she would love you as long as you can play eye spy for approx 10 hours of the day, read non stop and do counting!

I haven't dared weigh myself yet Maz, as I have been bad this week and think all of last weeks hard efforts have been thrown out the window!

Oh and can we have a picture of the snow....I am so excited you have snow *runs off to see how much flights are to Maz's house *

This is the day erin goes to Brownie camp for 2 nights.... me n big g alone for 2 days... so i have told him as he isn't taking me away for the night, he can at least buy me dinner, so we are going out for a chinese tomorrow...

I think he is trying, after all he surprised me with GHD straighteners this week, which turned out to be faulty, so am awaiting a new pair.. hope these ones are kosher...!

i intend to look stunning and dress for dinner tomorrow.... for noone other than myself of course! is it too early to wear my xmas frock?

Never too early for a Christmas frock Maz! I hope that you have a lovely time, even if its just the chinese that you enjoy! Does sound like he is trying bless him, I did laugh hard though at the GHD incident. So if Erin is away for 2 days what are your plans (other than meal out), something exciting?
