Debts increasing on my DMP

I started on a Debt Management Plan in February 2007. My creditors froze my interest, a repayment was agreed and my debts started to go down. :j In February of this year, one of my creditors stopped freezing my interest (they told me it was comapny policy not to freeze it for more than one year) although they accepted my annually revised payment offer. But they also started adding 'late payment fees' (because my offer does not meet the 'miminum repayment' on the cc bill, but I pay my agreed payment promptly every month) and once they had pushed my account over my credit limit, they started adding 'over limit fees' too.

My debt with them is now 10% higher that it was to start with, due to these fees and the extra interest. Is there anything I can do about what seem to be very unfair charges? I'm trying to repay my debt and they are increasing it at a ridiculous rate. I think they have now sold the debt to a debt collection agency (presumably this was part of their reason for trying to push the debt up), but can I do anything to reduce the debt that has been deliberately made bigger?

Help needed please!

Are the DCA charging interest too? They can only do that if it is on the original T&C. I would start reclaiming the bank and credit card charges. There's another board with all the letters and templatese that you will need in the main forum section. Also worth looking here.

One reason they sell it on is there may not be a enforceable CC AGREEMENT . If the new DCA can not provide a true signed copy of a CCA , stop paying them .
