Current accounts for under 18's

Which bank is the best to use for opening an account for under 18's still in full time education for depositing monthly pocket money of around £100 a month and which allows easy access and possible internet banking and bank card for accessing money?

    Well I know NatWest do all the above, but I'm sure they're not the only ones, nor even likely to be the best ...

    Natwest are the best for services for under 18's because you get the solo card. If you're lucky enough to be depositing £100 a month, then look for somewhere with higher interest as a savings account to back up the Natwest one as a spending account.

    I believe HSBC offer a solo card - well I had an account when I was 16 with them and it had a Solo card, cheque book etc etc.

    When i was in school I ahd the HSBC "lice cash" account which was very good and as above you got a Solo card, Cheque Book, and paying in book and you also got freebies and discount card to get 10% off in the shops but not sure if they still offer the extra stuff. I am still with the HSBC as well and I get a great service from them and would only move if the service became !!!!!!

    HSBC offer an appalling 0.1% interest (if I read their site correctly). Natwest is around 4%, but there are higher out there
