Tesco opening hours today

Are Tesco open today? I feel a bit miffed as I rang there tel number to be told its open today at 10am, so I've just been and guess what... closed :rolleyes:

I have been wondering the same thing. If you go to the Tesco.com site and search for your local stores there is an icon to the right of the details that says "Christmas Opening Hours". Most of the stores local to me are closed today.

PS I should have made it clearer, once you've found the details of the store you are near, select details then click on Xmas Icon.

Sainsbury's where I live are open today 10-4

7 miles from where I live there is a big 24 hour one and according to the web pages they are shut today.

But a local smallish sainsburys is open today.

Morrisons are shut until the 3rd. And I have feeling that most somerfields and icelands will be shut today as well.

iceland opened late nr me,i think they all had hangovers,sainsburys open too,but tesco and morrisons are shut until tomorrow.

yes asda and tesco closed here today! i had a very disappointing trip last year to find them both closed so I'm wiser this year!

yes all tescos are shut today but all sainsburys are open, it was the other way round on boxing day.

No it wasn't. My local Tesco was not open on Boxing Day. Lots of yummy bargains were had on Christmas Eve as they had to reduce many items because they were closed for two days.
