Amazon Price-drop

Something I purchased on Amazon dropped in price three days later. I've seen people mention before that you can claim this back from Amazon, but I've been searching their site and I can't find the relevant information. Can anyone help me?
Also, I got a student discount on this item. Will I get the same discount off the new price, or will the fact that I already had a discount affect my claim for a refund of the difference in any way? I'm a newbie to this so any help gratefully received!

It was difficult to find the info on their site about it when they did do it, but a month or two ago they stopped it. So no money back if they drop prices.0

I may as well return the item and reorder (the price difference outweighs the cost of postage), which seems to uneccessarily inconvenience both of us, so I hope they rethink this policy if they have changed it. :rolleyes:2021 Targets

Apparently when Amazon dropped there free delivery minimum spend down to £5 this coincided with them scrapping the price promise0

Phone them,(Amazon.co.uk 0800 2796620), and tell them of your intentions and that you will re-purchase at the reduced price, and will they therefore make the reduction now and dispense with the extra paperwork.
See THIS thread, post #3 last paragraph.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
I already emailed them and they emailed back to say 'tough, we don't do that now'. The price of the item has gone back up again today, so a bit miffed.2021 Targets

Although amazon.co.uk are good, their prices tend to fluctuate greatly. I ordered some luggage scales yesterday for £16.20- today they are £18.99! A creative MP3 player i was interested in was first £44, then went to £60, then to £50, then to £44, and now back upto £50- all in 1 month!!!! :mad:0
