Leeds Collect a car

Has anyone tried the new collect a car service in leeds??
I just wanted to know how they calculate the price ... they go the shortest distance home or the one thats going to earn them the most money?
i'm interested in using the service after an office party but don't know whether it would be better to bus into work that morning and taxi home at night instead.

Hi Jo,

I used collect a car on Saturday and they were fantastic!! They arrived early and cost me £2.50 more than a taxi. They charged me £15 from the Queens hotel to Shadwell lane with is a little over 6 Miles. (Bargain!!)

I've not heard of this, how does it differ to taxi???

Do they come and drive you home in your own car?

You drive your car to the party, then phone collect a car. They send someone out on a folding Scooter and they drive you and you car home. Have a look at there website www.collectacarleeds.co.uk

I have no affiliation with this company but think its a fantastic idea and that this service is long overdue in Leeds.

If you want to be really fussy, you could also point out the fact their usernames are both entirely lowercase.

I actually stubmled on this website whilst trying to find some other things we had been mentioned on, I am one of the Directors of Collect a Car Leeds. One thing that hasn't been mentioned by other users is there is no need to worry about how much the journey is going to cost, a confirmation text goes out at the time of booking with all the journey details on and a price. Just thought it was worth a mention.

Have you seen this spam, its really funny if you look closely, he gets picked up from his golf club in town . . . . New Collect a Car policy - Anyone being picked up from an actual golf club in town goes free! :T

Was fantastic....... and to my surprise I had a gorgeous looking girls who was my driver. I think her name was Ellie or something.
