Is quidco any good ?

hi all ,

firstly happy new year.

Basically I am hearing alot about quidco. Can someone tell me how it works.

Say for example I buy my psp from boots using the quidco links and 4.5% cashback. When do i see the cashback and how do I get it.

For me its a mixture of lack of sleep and being stupid that I can work this out for myself.

Cheers for any help :j

    HNYTYT!

Cashback is paid via PayPal to your nominated account though they are looking into other payment methods. I have just accumulated enough for my first payment threshold. There is also an annual admin fee of £5. Probably best if you read the T&Cs and info on Quidco. All the best!

I've been with quidco since July 2005 and have paid them my £5 admin fee, which came out of my first earnings. I have receive over £55 in my paypal account and am currently have over £5 scheduled to be transferred. Also I have another £50 waiting to be validated/received (this is for transactions over the last 1/2 months).

I would have had more earnings but I must admit that I was waiting to check that my first transaction would go through and transferred to paypal before I started to use them regularly. It can take a while for validation etc, but that's not down to quidco and you don't have to wait any longer than any other cashback site.

Although their enquiries system is currently not working, since they updated the site, they do (when it's working) answer queries, unlike some other cashback sites I can think of.

You can set the amount you receive your earnings at any level, I have mine currently set at £5.

I also use quidco for searches on comparison sites when I need to. The comparison sites include dealtime (10p per query), highstreet web (8p per query/4 per day) and kelkoo (12p per query/1 per day).

I usually check around other cashback sites before I decide which one to use, but have not found any that pay higher percentages than quidco. If I were you, TrevMcC, I'd go ahead and give them a try. :)

I've found them good so far - only been a member since sept and have had £36 into paypal so far...still waiting for my virgin bingo query which is taking forever mind you! I found them very useful when emailing with a problem - got helpful emails back very quickly.

Topcashback in referral forum doesnt charge any annual fee unlike Quidco and claims to pay 100% cashback. I cant vouche for them though as I havent personnel sued them, they are new.

So if i follow quidcos link to one of these comparsion sites, make a search then 10p will be validated to my account??? how do these work in order to receive the 10p?

I joined in May and have received approx £70 and have another £150 in the pipeline.
Quite a few transactions have gone missing on the way through - including 1 which when chased returned a declined. I have also had 1 which produced a lot less than the percentage stated.
At the moment I can't chase some which are missing but on the other hand when I think of the amount that I would not have had had I not placed the order through quidco. I think they are good.
My first transaction which was in May did not get received until October - so that should give an indication of how long the process takes. However, provided you continue to use quidco the money will continue to come in from about 5 months after starting onwards. Note some transactions come through a lot faster than others!

    Hope this helps someone

Jury still out for me..joined in October, I do a lot of online shopping but only 1 purchase has appeared... play.com orders have not appeared , nor laithwaites or boots!!.. thinking of giving up altogether. Oh and I do a CCleaner before I purchase so shouldn't be any problem there!
