Wanna Get Outta Debt

Me and my girlfriend are in 10888 in debt.

we had a baby last year, and moved into our own place this year

we had a 7000 loan to buy everything new, (bit silly i know)

over the course of the year we have built up another 3000 as we are feeling the pinch hard,

my gf doesnt work as she looks after the baby full time and i work part time cause i look after my elderly grandparent.

after earning and tax credits we are left with 210.80 a week.

My gf and me used to smoke 40 cigs a day between us but now were down to 20 between us.

we spend about 40-50 a week on food, then there is the electric which is between 10-15 a week, 5 quid gas a week, ive paid the water, and tv licence for the year so thts not to worry, we have got xmas presents already for everyone.

broadband is free with the sky tv which is 22 a month. any ideas on how i can up my income,
i have sold my ps3 on ebay to help pay some of the credit card we owe 1600 on credit card.

thanks

Try posting up a full SOA that people can look through really well on this site.
Has your girlfriend, or yourself, thought about something like Avon that could be worked around the baby?

Your income is £910 a month and your outgoings are £755 so there's about £150 a month which is being spent somewhere.
I'd suggest a spending diary for you and your partner, just a little notebook and jot down any spending to see where this is going.

    Next the debts...
Is it £7569 on the loan and £1600 on a credit card, correct? What are the APRs on these?

How much are you paying to them a month? With £150 you should be able to snowball the £1200 fairly easily.
