Bank account

I have a co-op basic bank account If i was to go bankrupt would i lose this account, I opend it when i started my DMP over a year ago

    You should have no problem keeping that account. I was able to keep mine opened 30 days before I went BR.
    BSC No: 186 There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Unless someone's nicked the candle !

    Is it a cashminder account? If so, then they are very unlikely to close it and you could tell the OR that it's the account you will use for your bill payments etc after BR. They normally tell Co-op that they have no interest in cashminder accounts, so long as there isn't a huge amount of money in it.
