Loan company have no record of my loan
Hi,
I took out a loan with barclaycard back in April for £15,000 repaying £342 a month, been paying every month and never missed a payment, then changed banks at end of October which resulted in all my Direct Debits being cancelled. I set them back up when loan companies wrote to me (or paid manually for that month) - everyone contacted me except barclaycard loan - nothing, payment was due on 1st November. On 10th November I called them, after a few minutes the lady said she could not find my details and would speak to a manager - could not trace via address, post code etc
The lady called me back and asked what had happened to Direct Debit, I explained and a new form sent out - I completed and returned 7 days ago - but still no letter regarding the now 3 week old payment.
I also obtained my credit file from experian yesterday and everything is listed and correct- but NO barclaycard loan showing...
Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Is this the norm?
