Hi I'm new and in the dodo!!

Good afternoon, I have been reading a lot of the posts in this forum for several weeks and at the weekend decided to bite the bullet, I did my SFA and sent the letters out through the imoney programme to my debtors, can anyone advise the time span before I should receive replies from a loan company and credit card companies please?

Give them three weeks, then send reminders.
  • Could anyone help, I have sent my lettrers and SOA to all my debtors, should I cancel my Direct Debit payments now or wait until I receive their replies?
  • I gave my creditors 14 days in which to reply with the information I requested and then I sent a reminder if I hadn't heard.

My DD's weren't running so there wasn't any action to do on my part but to wait for the creditors replies!

If you've not heard within 2-3 weeks, I suggest that you send them a reminder (don't they do that to us??).

    Good luck!

Presumably your statement of affairs is saying that you can't afford the contractual minimum payments.

    So cancel your D/Ds.
