1st Birthday Party in Aberdeen

Options
Hi

my dd is 1 year old in feb. i really want to have a party for her but also for my family to get together - we are a bit scattered.

my flat is way too small to hold it so im looking for a hall (not too large) that i can hire that will allow me to do my own food.

any ideas would be gratefully recieved - preference would be aberdeen itself or on the outskirts

thanks in advance

I don't know if you are in Aberdeen, but if you are, you can hire one of the community halls e.g. Froghall community centre, or if you contact Ashgrove Community Centre,(I think it is the Childrens Centre) they may help.:D
    Like good food and drink?
    Try Hotel Chocolat and Baileys.

Yes lots of local community centres will hire out rooms. Ive been at ones at Cove and Torry and lots of room. Usually geared up towards older kids tho. A room in a hotel might be a good choice but i guess you couldnt do your own food.

My DS2 was 1 in August and we just had a houseful, meant he was safe as he knew the surroundings and if needed he could be scooped up and put in bed when he needed to crash out.
Bringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!

  • i'll check some community centres out - thanks for help
  • You've maybe found somewhere already, but there's a place on the outside of Oldmeldrum for kids I think its called Hoodles who do birthday parties. Its got a soft play area that would be good if your daughter is only 1 and there's plenty room for family and friends.

Hope the party goes well wherever you have it!
