Ah - is that why ?
Nobody actually said that before. I was told it was the wrong place for that thread so i was merely trying to find the correct place for it.

The very first message in the thread that i quoted was advertising freecycle which is a discussion group, just as mine is so why would mine get deleted but the other doesnt ?

Something so simple has turned into a disaster just because people on here are ignorant.

its because you are affiliated with the site you were posting about. people who post about freecycle or any other website, for that matter, aren't involved with the site.

what you should have done, as lorwelde suggested, was email abuse and ask permission to post about your group. they may have allowed it, they may not have. i cant say.

Yes and its usually people in positions of "power" like local authorities that make the mistakes that effect the little people in a bad way and they dont care at all

But nobody explained this. The admin or moderators or whatever they like to call themselves are only concerned by what they want to do and not what the innocent people are going through
