Some ideas......

...I know this is a trivial post compared with most people's, but I felt like a bit of positivity as it's the weekend coming up!

I wondered if people could post their ideas of how to have a fun DFW weekend!!

This consists for me mainly at the moment as a trip to a National Trust Place (Got membership through Quidco with £20 cashback - worked out about £16 membership as I was 25 and under when I signed up!)

Got free trial from lovefilm and then got given £25 vouchers from work to continue for free film evenings... (If anyone wants a free 30 day day trial with them I can send a link... you just have to remember to cancel it after that time!)

Walk the retired greyhounds on Weekend Mornings... gets you out the house for an hour or two..

Go for a free meal round my parents in return for walking the dog

Any other ideas.. I'm just not the type of person who can sit at home (except with a book on evenings and there's lots of tidying to be done)

I think it's easy to forget all the things you can do for nothing isn't it? A few suggestions:

    - a walk in the countryside/beach
    - go and visit a relative you haven't seen for age
    - pamper session with all the bits you already have at home
    - actually sit down and watch a DVD you have without getting up doing the housework or being on the laptop
    - catch up on sleep :D

I can think of one other thing that can be a fun free thing to do for two but it might not be appropriate for a public forum... :rotfl:

  • Well KT I texted my boyfriend earlier asking if he had any suggestions what we could do for free this weekend... and can you believe he hasn't replied to that?? Such an open ended question... I spelt it out just now in another text haha!!

On a serious note though I think I might go visit my Nan on Sunday - get some tea and biscuits and listen to her talk about her illnesses... bless her! Good thing is my boyfriend finds her very interesting (she really is - it's just she's told me the same stories for the past 26 years!!)
