Dooyoo - Points Pending

I have several miles pending on Dooyoo that seem to be taking longer than the usual 72 hours to be authorised.

Is anyone else noticing its taking longer for their miles to become redeemable?

Yep, my account has been inactive for about five days (i.e. no reads) and I've got 60 pending from reads!

Sometimes miles do seem to take a bit longer to pop over, not sure why. I'm not aware of a general issue though.

Dormouse, it may be that people have clicked on your ops but not rated - if 4 people did this you'd have 60 miles. This could have happened over the last couple of days.

Dooyoo seem to be tightening up on procedures and abuse.

I'd be disappointed if anyone thought I was abusing my account. If that's the implication, then I'm not sure where that assumption has come from, or indeed how. The number of ratings has increased too - I still don't have so many that I wouldn't notice.

I have to say, everything I've read recently here and elsewhere on teh intarwebs is giving me a very bad Dooyoo taste in my mouth. I work very hard on my reviews, and most of them go through two or three rewrites before they get posted.

I admit, I don't know any of the facts, but recent account cancellations seem a bit arbitrary.

The temptation is to give the site a miss for a while until things settle down. I could just be having an oversensitive day, however...

I wasn't suggesting that you were abusing your account at all - the two sentences, in that regard, were unconnected. I suspect your additional pending miles are for reads without rates so you don't notice that you've had the reads unless you click through to "who read my reviews" and reconcille that with "who rated my reviews" - not an exercise worth getting hung up on though!

My last sentence was not aimed, merely a statement that dooyoo are getting hotter on "abuse" or manipulation of the system or whatever you want to call it. You might see miles go down is very prolific people are booted as their reads etc go with them. You might also find that some mile redemptions take slightly longer while dooyoo do whatever checks they want to make.

I don't think anything "needs to settle" - it's always been the same - some people get caught, some don't. Some think it fair, others not. Some really were being cheeky, others just unlucky. Dooyoo have always been reasonable though.

Feel free to use the guides if you have questions or concerns. We have a feedback system and forum with dooyoo so can often get answers slightly more quickly.

I have no objections to miles vanishing if it means the churners vanish for good. They tend not to do much reading or rating anyway, strangely...

Until I'm in a less sensitive mood, I'm going to step away from ALL forums before I get myself into trouble

Well I didn't get any implication from cmh that anyone was abusing their accounts - I have found the advice offered by them to be very helpful.

And I notice that a lot of my miles are now becoming redeemable so maybe I was just being impatient
