Festive Fairy Cake Baking Gifts

After the brilliant retro candy/sweet box thread which has inspired me to make five for various Christmas gifts, I saw this on the M&S website and thought it could easily be made at home from red card primarily, with fairy cake mix bagged up inside. The perfect homemade gift for little girls who love to bake or just eat cakes!:)

I have made similar things before. Not so much as an enclosed box, but with a decorated template made from card with a joined front, base, back. The contents are thus held within the template but clearly visible, in cellophane or a plastic bag in this instance. All are then joined with pretty ribbon threaded and tied through a hole punched through the top of the fairy/angel.
You could even use value sponge mixes for c39p instead of weighing out the various ingredients if you liked. Remember to include ingredients and instructions.
Alternatively, pick them up today in M&S or online on 3-for-2 plus 20% discount!:D They have an adorable gingerbread man version too!

I've done sort of similar things for presents - stolen ideas from the lovely people on here...;)
Baking bowl for a 5yo girl, includes - fairy cake recipe printed on a card, wooden spoon, cake cases, flour, caster sugar, vanilla essence, icing sugar, tube of readymade icing to pipe, food colouring, lots of pots of decorations, candles, cookie cutters all in a mixing bowl
Baking bowl for my 4yo son for Xmas, includes - wooden spoon, apron, icing, cookie cutters, cake cases, cake decrations again in a mixing bowl.
I think I got quite a lot for my money (most of the decorations were on offer when Supercook rebranded as Dr Ortger - sp?). I also split sets of cutters and spoons bewteen the 2 presents.
Also doing a couple of mixes in jars for Xmas. One is for my DS1 so he can make cookies for Santa on Xmas Eve - doing Twink's hobnobs layered in a jar with cranberry's and some white chocolate chunks (idea came from shaz on the Crafty for Christmas thread
).
I am going to make up this Christmas muffin mix in a jar for us to bake Christmas morning - going into a Xmas Eve basket for me and the OH. got the idea from ginvzt on the gifts in a jar thread...
