Which? Online- is it any good?

I took out a trial subscription (£1 for a month) as I'm shopping for a TV and wanted to see what they said them.
The trial is nearly finished and I'm wondering whether to cancel or not...is it worth keeping the membership? Is anyone a member, and has it actually saved them any money?

We use it every 2 weeks to check out things we want to buy- spanning the whole spectrum. The reviews etc I find good since it makes you aware at least of what you should be looking at especially buying a new product you have never used before.
For us it saves money by making sure we end up buying products that meet with our specifications- with us already being aware of any glitches etc
We use it as a family - which makes it better value ( depending on how extended you go !)0 -
Perhaps not entirely ethical (high horse merchants please keep it to yourself), but if your not sure perhaps just cancel and then re-register with different email address, just to see if you really want to keep it.
Incidentally I have also taken out the £1 thing coz I'm looking for a TV, and am absolutely gutted that I prevaricated so long and now al the deals are gone. Doh!0 -
I used to be a subscriber to which- but I was at the time moving home from a hostel into my 'own' unfurnished flat (rented) and needed to make sure I was getting the best quality for white goods and etc.
Which came in very useful here, as at the time they had just done reviews on washing machines, kettles, fridges etc. I bought what I could afford and as best clse to the top buy as possible and things seem to still be going 4.5 years later. I also found info like getting a bosch washing machine was better then a whirlpool or hotpoint one as it did not make so much noise- smae with the fridge, mine is almost silent, its a hotpoint, I bought it partly for this reason....
You see where I am going with this?
Which is great if you are moving or need to buy something, but otherwise I wouldnt subscribe tbh. Its a good little mag with interesting articles but if you are cash strapped it wont really help-
Not alot of people know this BUT! the Which magazine can often be read at your local library. The don't always have the latest offer (liek a month or two behind) but they do back stock the lot, my library has several years worth to read/photocopy.0 -
Free in any library!0

Not sure if you're still debating, however I have been a Which Member for years and I've found the online service really useful for lots of my purchases. It has enabled me to save time and money by selecting the best products to meet my needs. Even in these credit crunch times, I've no plans to cancel.
Hope this helps.I wanna be Mortgage Free by February 20130
