ICICI's useless website

Trying to access my account, each page taking about 15 minutes to load. This bank really doesn't do itself any favours.

n.b. not trying to start a panic or anything, just having a rant. Useless website = situation normal for ICICI.

Yep I'm finding the same - although usually, not too bad in my experience. It's prob poorly written source code, but they could do themselves a favour and get rid of moving images on their pages, which would speed things up.

The page source code is fine, only small flash files, it doesn't appear to be a page-load problem.
But there does appear to be a problem with their website hosting, which is in India
the webserver hangs and is very slow to respond


now icici are also in Canada under the name icicibank.ca
that also appears to be hosted in India
and...you guessed it... also slow to respond

i guess the recent upgrade to their webserver powering to 2-manpower isn't having much effect!
