Hi,
This is my first post so please be kind to me.
My partner had an operation a few weeks ago and was on SSP for 3 weeks. On one of those weeks they only paid £45 SSP and they made the rest up with commission he had earned.
My partners work is saying that as he was on SSP he can only get paid that amount. Now I think that is wrong as where I have worked previously I have been paid full pay while off sick with part of that being SSP!!
Could some please tell me whether I am right or not.
